Bikram Yoga is a challenging 90-minute beginning yoga class that consists of 26 classic Hatha yoga postures and 2 breathing exercises practiced in a heated room.  The class is designed to work 100% of the entire body from the inside out!  Our focus is to build strength and stamina, improve flexibility and balance, heal old injuries and prevent new ones, de-stress and de-tox your body so you leave feeling energized for the rest of your life!  

 

We love the heat!

Bikram Yoga is practiced in a room heated to 105 degrees with 40% humidity. The heat warms the muscles, and warm muscles are more supple and pliable.  With the heat you can achieve a deeper stretch, so that fresh oxygenated blood reaches deeper into your muscles, tendons and organs, restoring all systems to healthy, working order.  The heat promotes sweating, flushing toxins from your body, while helping you to burn more calories and build greater athletic endurance.

Anyone can benefit from Bikram Yoga. Even if you’ve never done yoga before, feel inflexible, injured, or out of shape, or if you are an athlete looking to maximize your performance. Bikram Yoga is a beginner’s class designed for beginners as well as students who have a regular yoga practice. No experience is necessary, just come and try your best!
